Oreworlds
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This page explains what information Oreworlds (oreworlds.com, run by DS Studios) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Account details: your username, your email address and, if you set one, your password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash; we can't see them.
- Google sign-in: if you use "Continue with Google", we receive your Google account ID, email address and name from Google. We store the ID and email to sign you in. We don't get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
- Discord sign-in: if you use "Continue with Discord" or connect Discord to your account, we receive your Discord user ID, name and email address, and store the ID and email to sign you in. To check whether you can download test builds we also read your roles in our Discord server; those are kept only for your current browser session and aren't stored in our database.
- Linked games: when you sign in from the game, we store a sign-in token for that PC, the device name the game sends, and when it was last used.
- Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse (such as repeated failed sign-ins) and appears in our web server logs.
- Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no third-party analytics on this site.
How we use it
- To create and run your account, sign you in on the website and in the game, and show your username to other players in multiplayer.
- To send account emails, such as confirming your email address. These are sent through our email provider, Brevo.
- To decide who can download test builds.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Sharing
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. It is only handled by the services that run the site: our own server, Brevo (account emails), and Google or Discord when you choose to sign in with them.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account information while your account exists. You can sign your games out at any time from your account page. To have your account and its data deleted, contact us on our Discord and we'll remove it.
Children
Oreworlds accounts are not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
